"Hello?"
Timid tone echo'd as she stepped into the structure that was thought to be that of the Clan Leader. An introduction was needed and she was hoping to get it done with swiftly so she could find herself some shelter and start exploring her new home. Her mother lived just beyond the outskirts of the village and often came to trade so to some the little vixen was familiar.
Never before had her Ma thought her little one would run off to join the group, high tailing it from their little cabin the moment she hit eighteen summers. It was now or never. Paw like hands reached up to smooth the fur on her muzzle before she adjusted the top of her neutral beige shirt/skirt combo and called out once more.
" Naiomi Mika, New clan recr.. recruit requesting an audiance.."

The vixen would find herself inside a wooden, dome-like structure that rivaled the size of a baseball field. Upon gaining entry into his residence the first thing she would come across is the arena floor that occupied the center of the room. This was his source of entertainment, so to speak. Weapon racks were lined up against the far side of the walls, displaying various kinds of equipment for use. The arena was surrounded by several tunnels leading further underground. What rested beneath the arena floor was anyone's guess. There was also a path leading from the arena to and up a short flight of stairs. On top of the landing sat a silver throne decorated with intricate markings and seals.
It was here that the new recruit would be granted her audience. Kei was half slouched in his chair, elbow digging into the armrest and his face propped against the back of his knuckles. There was a bored look on his face as he watched two underlings beat the stuffing out of each other in the center of the arena. Twin triangulars perked up at the sound of Naiomi's voice. Silver hues diverted from the fight momentarily to seek out the source. There was a slight shift in his posture when gaze settled upon the newcomer.
"Audience granted. Step forward."

Her ears flicked. Broad, peaked nearly Kitfox shaped ears that seemed to nearly vibrate with excitement and nerves as she made her way towards the path and to the foot of that small staircase.
Am I supposed to bow? Eh When in doubt, wing it!
Indeed dropping into a bow seemed to be a very very good option. It was how she'd been taught to show proper respect.
"I was informed that my first priority upon arrival was to introduce myself to the Clan Leader. I was directed here. I see I am not wrong. I am Naiomi Mika. "
Those eyes the color of soft emerald glanced up as she straigtened hesitantly, paws clasping before her hips.

Smart girl. Whether through sheer luck or instincts the vixen was immediately met with semi-approval. Kei held himself in very high esteem and her show of respect did not go unnoticed. A single nod was given at the end of her brief introduction.
"Welcome to Tokala Village, little vixen. I have a few simple ground rules here. Rule#1: Never -- and I mean never -- disturb me during my nap. I don't care if the world is coming to an end. It will be nothing compared to my wrath. Rule#2: I hate repeating myself. So listen when I talk. Rule#3: Humans are disgusting creatures. I absolutely detest them. If you choose to interact with them be sure to rid yourself of their stench before returning to the village."
Unknown to her, these so called rules were always subject to change. It would probably help if he wrote them down somewhere. In fact, he recalled getting a missive from the Crow asking him to forward a copy of the Clan Rules. Oh well. He'd get to it. Once he was done appraising her he'd wave a hand in the air.
"If there is nothing else you wish to speak to me about, you're dismissed."

Oh my. Oh my, my. Those were easy enough rules to understand. She nodded and after a moment of hestation she licked pink tongue along her muzzle and glanced down to her hands.
" I was wondering if you would be kind as to point me to where ever the nearest available housing could be. "
Understandably so. Surely at her meer 5' height she wouldn't be able to build her own housing unless she started diggin' herself a big ol' hole in a vacant spot in Tokala. Those eyes narrowed slightly before she gave a little sniffle.

Available housing? There was a slight furrow of the brows before something akin to a smirk flitted across his features, allowing those ivory canines to protrude. The answer he was tempted to give obviously amused him. After a moment's pause he shifted in his chair again.
"Try the nearest Inn. Tell the keeper I already granted you an audience. He will give you a room."
There was nothing wrong with burrowing underground. Those tunnels that surrounded the arena? They led to snug dens beneath the arena floor. Kei preferred to take his naps underground.

Those ears pricked up straight and she nodded with another deep bow at the waist. Thankfully she'd choosen a modest skirt and shrt to wear, otherwise that comment may have ben a bit different.
" I shall.. Thank you very much for granting me audiance.."
And with that she turned quickly upon her heel and headed out the way she had come in. There was a bit of bounce in her step, that brightly colored white tipped tail swaying happily behind her as she dissapeared and went in search of the inn!
