Stevie-rae hadn't really given the place much of a look around. Just brought her stuff to an empty room and made herself comfortable for the time being. The Garoux wasn't exactly the most social person, and when she stepped out of her room her nose burned with the disgusting scents of the others around here.
The worst was the humans. It burned her nose and made her want to kill things. Humans were such savage beasts. Then there was the fox, which was nearly as gross smelling. But you get past the scent for the juicy white meat, of course.
What to do, what to do. She had to go find that clan leader guy and introduce herself. Hopefully he wasn't expecting to receive respect without delivering. Off she went, out her door, her nose wrinkling at the smell, eyes watering. Dang it was strong.

"Ah - Ah - AHCHOOOO!!" A distinct male howl followed after the sneeze, followed by a strong sniff of the air around him. "... damn allergies." The back of his right fingerless gloved hand was used to wipe his nose clean from any debris that managed to escape. With a second inhale of the air around him, that keen sense of smell caught the scent of another wandering the same halls as he. A single brow was raised in question as he began to follow the scent to it's source. Though it would seem he was a moment too late.
"... damn." Words mumbled under his breath as he sniffed at the air once more. Though the scent was still alive and not that far off. Combat boots would lightly tap at the ground as he began the chase once more. Coming around a corner to find the back of a female walking away from him. "Aiyo!"

She blinked a bit when she heard someone coming up behind her, and then she heard the voice of a man and she turned on her heal, yellow eyes sizing him up a moment before they shifted to brown. He didn't seem to be a threat, and he was in the Okami halls. He had to at least be all right, and his scent was tainted with wolf. He was more competition than he was a threat.
"What?" Spoke with a large amount of attitude, and to emphasize, she crossed her arms over her chest and raised a brow. She didn't know him, so he got the same Stevie-rae every stranger got, the rude bitch who hated everyone.

Pace would slow down, before actually coming to a complete halt a good yard away from the female. His scent was right on the money when he caught another wiff of the Garou within her. His features were childlike in essence, but his aura was tainted by centuries of bloodshed and terror. It was a surprise a young face like his could still grin from ear to ear. As far as looking at her as competition; there was no such thing.
"... eh." He paused. Unsure if he had done something to her to receive the attitude. "... jus' wanted to introduce myself. Figured since we're in these halls alone, we must be one of the same?"
Instead of his arms crossing over his chest, they'd rise up and bend at the elbows allowing his hands to lock behind his head. The grin still present, but those golden hues narrowed as he looked her over. She was the typical female bitch; mean, grouchy, and I don't give a f&@k attitude. It was cute.
"I'm Daijiro."

She took in a deep breath. She had to remember that she wasn't back home anymore. Her angry demeanor changed a bit as she relaxed a little. She smirked and shook her head, blond messy hair flying around with the motion. "I don't think we're the same, but I guess we're close enough." They weren't from the same bloodline, that is there were only two from her line left. She took everything as a competition or a threat, it was how she was raised to be, with all the humans out there killing off her kind.
She shrugged and held out a hand. She had to remember, respect was supposed to be a big thing here, so why not shake hands. She really wasn't good at this whole thing, but she had to work on it. "The name's Stevie-rae. " Yeah, she had that bitch attitude all right, the grin on her face was less inviting than it should have been.

His own grin only seemed to spread a bit wider, revealing the rows of polished ivories. For being what he was, his teeth seemed to be in perfect order, even socially cleaner then most. Cheek bones would rise as the grin spread more to hide those bright golden hues of his for a moment. A subtle chuckle followed from her initial response. She was right, not the same, but close enough. Their personalities were like day and night at first. But at least they understood each other to the point of remaining calm. Could prove good for them both if need be.
"Hehe..." Keen ears would twitch at the sound of the fabric of her clothing moving as she reached out toward him, causing the grin to fade, and those lids to open to reveal that bright golden gaze once more. Hues would catch sight of her out stretched hand, which caused his own arms to drop from their place at the back of his head. Left hand catching the ends of the earrings he wore causing them to jingle softly in the air. Closing the distance as his fingerless gloved right hand would reach out to take hold of hers. His claws present, and sharp to a fine point. It was a surprise he didn't hurt himself with those.
"Well met." Daijiro paused with his words for a moment. Shaking her hand with a firm grasp, but soon released it to allow his right arm to fall back to his side. Left hand finding it's place on the hilt of his hibana blade, causing the blades tip to point behind him.
"... So I suppose me and you will be pack mates from here on out, eh?"

She looked to his hand as he shook her's. "Do you always wear your claws out?" Her brows furrowed. That wasn't allowed where she came from, too dangerous, so it was new to her. And it made her edgy. How could one be some calm with that? She gave his hand a light squeeze and then pulled her's back to rest on her hip. "Yes, well met."
She shrugged at his next question and nodded. "I suppose so. Though I wouldn't say we're a pack just yet, the two of us." She had been pushing to get her brother to join, but he was a stubborn guy. She wasn't going to admit it, but she kind of liked this kid. "So, you going to try to go for clan leader?" She grinned.

Keen gaze caught the direction of her gaze and noticed how she examined his own hand. Mainly the claws, as she then mentioned it. Though his right arm would bend at the elbow and turn the palm of his hand upward, curling his fingers enough to look down to the tips of his fingers, where those nails were nothing more but sharp and dangerous. Blinking a few times, he nodded to her.
" ... defect, I suppose." That right hand would drop back to his side. Causing the palm of his hand to pat lightly against the fabric of his baggy pants. He could never understand the way his body worked. He just one day realized his nails were growing out quicker then he'd cut them. Most likely due to the inner beast in him attempting to escape. His gaze seemed to drift away in thought for a moment, until she spoke again. Mentioning that the two weren't a pack, just yet. Golden hues would blink a few times before smirking slightly. Her final question catching his full attention once more.
" ... considering it's the two of us so far, I think we'd make a good pair." Was he trying to flirt with her on the spot?
"... and actually I am." Words spoken with confidence, as if he knew he had it in the bag already. Then again, a man in his shoes always had to be confident in everything he did. A crack in one's resolve, was as good as a blunt sword.
"How about you? Or do you have other goals in mind?" Pause. "... could be my beta, if you're interested?" Fanged grin.

She raised a brow. "Defect, huh? We had a guy with a defect in the clan once." She remembered him well. Of course he was the first to be killed by those two legged freaks, the humans. She smirked a bit and shrugged. "I don't know about that." She blinked a few times at the question and grinned. "I'm shooting for Alpha." It was her goal, and she was hoping to achieve it.
And then he said she could be his Beta and she outright laughed. "Me? Your Beta?" She grinned, baring her own fangs. "I guess we'll have to see how it goes." She shrugged. This guy was a hoot. "So where were you headed?" She didn't know anything about this place, so she had no idea where to go for anything.

Living as long as he had, he had noticed his body had gone through odd changes. For a good ten years of his life, he was stuck in his wolf form. Every so often there would be an odd change in his figure. For the last five years, it had been the sharp nails. His defect was more like an illness that would come and go at random periods of his life. Eventually something different would come to pass, but for now Daijiro was content with his current defect.
"My defect's usually end up being problems for other people." The fanged grin seemed to twitch a bit wider, following a subtle chuckle on his part. She had high goals, just like he had his own. It was something he couldn't help but admire on her part. It would be enough reason to keep an eye on her, see what she was like. Her laughter caused him to chuckle softly, nodding to her question.
"... yeah, it's only right. Because lets face facts, there could only be only one Alpha in this pack." Pause. Hearing her final question, only to quickly respond. ".. no destination really. I've just been lurking the halls checking out this place. So far you're the only life form I've found here."
